Getting started

What is TWB?

TWB is a members travel-dating app. You build a profile, you list the places you've been and where you're going, and you meet people whose travel plans align with yours. Available on iOS and Android.

Who is TWB for?

Adults aged 18 and over who travel and want to meet other travelers — for friendship, for company on the road, for dating, or whatever shape that takes. We are not a hookup app and we are not a couchsurfing app. We are somewhere in between, and intentional about it.

How do I sign up?

Download the App, enter your email address or phone number, and we send you a one-time code. No password. Once you confirm the code, you fill in your profile (a few photos, your travel style, where you've been, where you want to go) and you complete a quick liveness check. The full process takes about five minutes.

Is it free?

The Economy tier is free, forever. Upgrades to Business or First Class are optional. Pricing is shown inside the App and varies by country.

Profile and verification

Why do I need to verify my profile?

Verification is what makes TWB different from most dating apps. It confirms that you are a real, unique adult human — not a bot, not a recycled photo, not a fake identity. Members trust the verification badge, and you benefit from being on a platform where others are verified too.

How does the liveness check work?

The App asks you to perform a sequence of predefined gestures (look left, blink, raise an eyebrow, and so on) and capture two photos. A member of our moderation team reviews the photos, usually within a few hours, and your profile is verified.

Why was my photo rejected?

The most common reasons: the photo doesn't clearly show your face, the lighting is poor, the photo contains another person, the photo contains a watermark or commercial logo, or the photo contains nudity or other content that violates our Terms of Service. Re-upload a clearer photo and try again.

What is the difference between public and private photos?

Public photos appear on your profile for any approved member to see. Private photos are hidden by default — other members must request access, and you decide whether to grant it. Once you share a private photo, you can't prevent the recipient from saving it. Share carefully.

Discovery and conversations

How does discovery work?

You scroll through profiles, one at a time. The order isn't random — we surface profiles based on freshness, completeness, activity, and a touch of randomness so you're not always seeing the same people. You can filter by gender, age, distance, and travel style.

How do I send a message?

Tap the message button on a profile. If your free daily message quota isn't used up, your message goes through. Business and First Class members have higher quotas. First-time messages to a new member get extra weight in their inbox if you choose to send a Super Message (uses TWB Miles).

Can I see who liked my profile?

Yes, if you're a Business or First Class member. Economy members see when there's interest but not specifically from whom.

How do I share a trip?

In the App, go to your trips and create one: pick a destination, dates, and a quick note about what you have in mind. Your trip becomes visible to relevant members who are heading the same place around the same time.

Membership tiers

What are the membership tiers?

Economy — free, with daily limits on discoveries and messages. Business — paid, with higher daily limits, the ability to see who liked you, and the ability to request private photos. First Class — paid, with unlimited discoveries and messages, privacy controls, read receipts, anonymous browsing, and a monthly profile boost.

Do women get a free upgrade?

Yes. Women automatically receive Business tier benefits at no charge. This is part of how we keep the community balanced.

What are TWB Miles?

Miles are in-App credits used for one-time features: boosting your profile for 24 hours, boosting a specific trip, sending a Super Message, or buying extra discoveries when you hit your daily limit. You earn Miles by completing your profile and staying active. You can also buy them in packs.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → TWB → Cancel. Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Subscriptions → TWB → Cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your paid features until then.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by TWB. See Apple's and Google's refund pages for how to request one.

Safety

How does TWB keep me safe?

Liveness verification, manual photo review for every public photo, anti-harassment limits on free accounts, one-tap blocking, and reports reviewed within 24 hours (within 4 hours for child-safety reports). We also publish a Child Safety Policy explaining how we cooperate with authorities.

How do I report a member?

On the member's profile, tap the three-dot menu, then Report. Choose the reason. Reports go to our moderation team. We don't share your identity with the reported person.

How do I block someone?

On the member's profile, tap Block. The other person can no longer see your profile or contact you in any way.

Can I browse without being seen?

First Class members can browse anonymously — your profile views don't appear in the other person's "who viewed me" list.

Your account

How do I change my email or phone number?

In the App: Settings → Account → Edit contact information. You'll need to confirm the new email or phone with a one-time code.

Can I take a break without deleting my account?

Yes. In Settings → Account, choose "Pause profile". Your profile becomes invisible to other members until you reactivate it. You stop receiving notifications. Your data is kept and your subscription continues (or you can cancel before pausing).

How do I delete my account?

In the App: Settings → Account → Delete my account. We confirm by email or SMS, and your profile is removed immediately. Your photos are deleted within 30 days. Your liveness verification photos are deleted after 90 days. Some records are kept longer where required by law (see Privacy Policy).

What happens to my subscription if I delete my account?

You forfeit any remaining time and any unused TWB Miles. Refunds are not granted for time remaining after voluntary deletion. Cancel your subscription separately via the App Store / Play Store before deleting if you want to ensure no further charges.
